Ms Urwa is a graduate of Cardiff University and the CEO of Asma Law Associates Academy. With a strong academic background and education from Beaconhouse School System, Urwa’s passion for law was inspired by her family’s legacy in the legal profession most notably her parents, Asma Tanveer & Tanveer Randhawa.
Urwa’s journey in law is marked by a deep commitment to education, advocacy, and social justice. At the Academy, she leads a wide range of educational and training programs aimed at mentoring aspiring legal professionals and promoting legal literacy across communities.
Her professional experience includes being a mentee with the Commercial Bar Association (COMBAR) in England, where she gained valuable insight into commercial law and advocacy. She also volunteered at the Cardiff Civil and Family Justice Centre with Support Through Court, guiding individuals facing legal proceedings without representation.
While at Cardiff University, Urwa led several impactful workshops under the FLASH (FAMILY LAW ASSISTANCE & SELF HELP) project, focusing on improving access to legal resources for parents from marginalized groups—an initiative that reflects her strong values of equity and inclusion.
Her dedication to social justice extends beyond the UK. In Pakistan, she served as a core member of The Mirror, an NGO committed to uplifting women and as a volunteer at Social Security Hospital to observe health issues faced by women.
Urwa is a driven and compassionate emerging legal professional. Her work continues to reflect a deep commitment to making the legal system more accessible, equitable, and empowering for all.
Our History
Asma Law Associates begins years ago before 2003, when principal contact person who also contest elections for member Member Punjab Bar Council, Faisalabad was studying law in the university. She started her journey from working as interni of Ch Habib ur Rehman Advocate Supreme Court, Pakistan and Ch Khalil ur Rehman Advocate High Courts and is continued till now. The said journey again continued in the form of working for Jail Reform Program of UNO and not ends even after giving tremendous results in Juvenile Justice Reform System.
The said Journey remained continued from working as ever first legal Advisor of Pakistan Railways, to working as Family, Property Banking, Cyber, Declarations, Injunctions, Writs and other multiple tasks lawyer and still not ended as the team continues to grow beyond borders.
